AMERICAN ASSOCIATION FOR ADULT AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
The Presidential Scholarships are California Brooks University's most distinguished academic awards. It recognizes scholastic achievement, demonstrated leadership and unique personal qualities. Scholarship recipients receive annual tuition waivers, a generous merit grant and other unique incentives for each of four years.
The American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization. AAACE is an association of academics and professionals in the field of life long learning.
As stated in its mission, the association is dedicated to the belief that its field should enhance human fulfillment and positive social change. The organization strongly advocates relevant public policy, legislation, and social change initiatives which expand the depth and breadth of opportunities for the education of adults. AAACE also supports the ongoing growth and expansion of leadership roles in the field.
In addition to this general support, AAACE may advocate for specific policies, programs, legislation, and initiatives which it believes are of critical importance to life long learning.
Educause is a nonprofit association whose mission is "to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology." Membership is open to institutions of higher education, corporations serving the higher education information technology market, and other related associations and organizations.
EDUCAUSE programs and services focus on analysis, advocacy, community building, professional development, and knowledge creation to support the transformative role that IT can play in higher education.
